It is our goal as a business to keep our customers satisfied. We offer our customers 30 days to return or exchange of our products as long as they are unused and all packaging and accessories if any are intact. If you find that your product is defective, please let us know as we only offer exchange for these items. While we do aim to make sure our customers are satisfied, there may be some exclusions that will be left to our discretion.
Warranty Coverage
All new products at Crooks Custom Audio and Electronics are covered for repair or exchange against defects for 1 year. While this warranty is usually covered by the manufacturer there may be some cases where Crooks Custom Audio and Electronics will honor this warranty. Details regarding a products warranty will be outlined in the products description at crookscustomaudio.com.
Used goods or goods marked for parts/repair are sold “As Is/Where Is” and as a result are non-refundable. Some exclusions may apply. Please contact us with questions or concerns about these items.
Important Details and Exclusions
In most cases options for returned products are either to receive a refund or an exchange.
After careful review of your claim refunds will be issued to the same form of payment used on the original transaction.
Some products such as those noted “non-refundable” in the product description, wire, software, installation labor, custom or special order products, will not be processed.
Crooks Custom Audio and Electronics reserves the right to refuse any products that do not appear to be new, or if they show signs of use or installation. These items will be refused in most cases. However if they are accepted Crooks Custom Audio and Electronics will charge a restocking fee.
You must contact us and request a refund if you want to return your items. Returns and refunds can only be requested once the order is complete, unless it is still in pre-approval process. Returns and refunds will be reviewed and processed no later than 72 hours upon receipt of request, if approved. If for any reason your return or refund was declined you will be given instructions on how to dispute our decision. By accepting these terms you are acknowledging this policy.
Examples of Refusals Include
Any sign of usage or wear – including but not limited to installation, scratches, physical markings, screw holes, or similar.
Any tampering or removal of tags, stickers, manufacturer labels or badges.
Any missing parts, signs of damage or tampering to original product packaging or parts therein.
A different serial number than the one Crooks Custom Audio and Electronics has on record when the product was shipped.
Any physical damage such as that from drops, liquid, mishandling or similar misuse.
Any products that may have been damaged when returned due to improper packaging.
Any subwoofer enclosures and speaker boxes that may have been used or show signs of a subwoofer being mounted.
Any speakers, subwoofers, or amplifiers that appear to be blown, punctured or fried.
Additional products including those provided with promotional bundles, free accessories, that are not received upon return, that were included in a promotion with the product returned, will have their full individually listed price deducted from any credit or refund issued.
Similarly, any attempt to return an item received from promotions or otherwise promotional products without the corresponding product it came bundled with, may be refused.
You have 7 calendar days from your delivery date to notify Crooks Custom Audio and Electronics of any damage that occurred during shipment to the product or the packaging it arrived in.
When will I get my Refund or Replacement?
Once Crooks Custom Audio and Electronics receives your product it can take as many as 3 business days to evaluate. in some cases a product may require additional testing.
How will I know if you’ve Received my Return?
You will receive an email with a return received notice upon arrival of your returned item. This email will notify you that your return has been received and your refund is being processed. Additionally you will receive another email to notify you of the completion of the return process from which your approval or denial will be disclosed.
Defective Products
Defective products are covered through the exchange of the same product within our return period. If the product is discontinued, you will be eligible for a non-refundable store credit towards another product. After 30 days, defective products are covered under warranty coverage as stated above.
Any product missing manufacturer packaging, accessories or parts (including those promotional in nature) will be exchanged only for the same product with the aforementioned packaging, accessories and parts not being included upon the exchange (we exchange exactly what you send us). In the event a product is returned missing accessories and/or packaging, and the product is not in stock for exchange, Crooks Custom Audio and Electronics reserves the right to send the product in for warranty repair, regardless of the purchase date. If no other option is available the item will be returned to the customer as is with written explanation.
Return Shipping Costs
Crooks Custom Audio and Electronics reserves the right to deduct all original shipping costs from your refund, store credit or exchange towards alternate products.
Crooks Custom Audio and Electronics leaves the consumer responsible for all shipping costs and reserves the right to make the original shipping costs non-refundable these costs will be deducted from any refund or credit issued.
Any exceptions will need to be approved and processed on a per case basis.
Missing a Package or Never Received Your Order?
If you have not received your package yet your tracking information shows that your package was delivered you have 36 hours to file a request.
During this time it is important that you verify that the shipping address on the order is correct. Look in this location for any signs of the package or any notice of attempted delivery. Check with neighbors or co-workers to see if someone else may have accepted the delivery.
Some packages travel through multiple carriers; check your mailbox or wherever else you receive mail or packages. Please be sure to call your carrier in an attempt to locate your package prior to contacting Crooks Custom Audio and Electronics.
